Endicott College and Massachusetts National Guard Announce Educational Partnership
Endicott College and the Massachusetts National Guard proudly announce a new partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing the Military and Academic Partnership Pathways for Success (MAPPS) program. This collaboration provides expanded access to higher education for members of the Massachusetts National Guard and their families, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting military personnel and their educational advancement.
Under the MAPPS program, Endicott College will offer eligible Massachusetts National Guard service members and their families significant benefits, including a military tuition rate for active duty members, a 15% tuition discount for affiliated family members pursuing degree programs, an expedited application process, and opportunities to transfer credits and gain credit for prior learning.
“We are honored to partner with the Massachusetts National Guard to make higher education more accessible to those who serve our nation,” said Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D., President of Endicott College. “This collaboration exemplifies Endicott’s deep commitment to supporting our military community and ensuring service members and their families have access to the resources they need to achieve their academic and career goals.”
The Massachusetts National Guard will facilitate outreach efforts, ensuring Guard members and their families are aware of these new opportunities. Additionally, Endicott College will participate in Massachusetts National Guard-hosted events such as Yellow Ribbon events, education fairs, and other programs focused on education and career development.
“Investing in our service members is one of my top priorities,” said Maj. Gen. Gary W. Keefe, Adjutant General, Massachusetts National Guard. “The true strength of the Massachusetts National Guard rests on the collective capabilities of its members, and we are excited to partner with Endicott College because of the valuable opportunities this will provide our service members. Education is a critical component of future success, and this partnership ensures that our soldiers and airmen have access to the tools and resources they need to excel both personally and professionally.”
The partnership underscores a mutual dedication to serving those who serve, providing tailored pathways for Guard members and their families to achieve academic success while balancing their military and personal commitments.
