Endicott College Nursing Graduates Boast 100% Pass Rate on NCLEX Nursing Exam
In another historic win for the nursing field at Endicott College, 100% of nursing graduates from the Class of 2023 passed the 2023 National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Endicott’s NCLEX-RN pass rates are historically above national averages—for 2022 NCLEX-RN first-time pass rate was 91% with an overall pass rate of 100%. Nursing graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN at least 45 days after graduation.
"I am extremely proud of our faculty, staff, and most especially nursing graduates for this truly fantastic accomplishment," said Cummings School of Nursing & Health Sciences Dean Amy Smith. "This is just the beginning of their rewarding careers dedicated to excellent and compassionate patient care. With our new building, expanded facilities, outstanding faculty and staff and excellent clinical partners, there has never been a better time to be a nurse at Endicott."
In October 2021, the College announced an historic $20 million partnership with Cummings Foundation that paved the way for the September 2023 grand opening of the new Cummings School for Nursing & Health Sciences.
“I chose Endicott’s nursing program for the diverse internships, clinical opportunities, volunteer trips, experienced faculty, senior thesis, and the sense of community I felt walking through campus,” said nursing major Paige McKee ’24 at the opening ceremony. “Now here I am years later, standing before you, celebrating the opening of a new state-of-the-art nursing and health sciences building. Do you think I picked the right school?!”
The building brings together classrooms, labs, offices and meeting spaces, lounges, and, critically, Endicott Hospital, an interactive space that functions as a facsimile of a real-world healthcare unit where students learn using the most current technologies.
Additionally, four high-fidelity simulation spaces represent patient rooms with focuses like medical-surgical, pediatrics, labor and delivery, and acute care. The area also includes five exam rooms as you might see in a primary care office and a med room, which mimics a hospital’s supply and medication dispensary for more realistic care scenarios.
