Let the Countdown to Homecoming and Family Weekend Begin
It’s that time of year again. The time of year where we all pause to reflect on what a unique place Endicott College is and how lucky we all are to call it home. Homecoming and Family Weekend is nearly upon us. It’s September 21 -23, to be exact.
Whether you plan to join in on the family fun around the lakes, are looking forward to digging in at the lobster bake, or you’re excited to connect with old friends in our alumni tent, this special weekend is packed with events for everyone in the family.
One of the weekend’s marquee events is The Class Gift Dedication. The Class of 2018 was determined to honor a dear friend and classmate, Craig Sampson III, with a special senior class gift this year. They’ll be officially dedicating the Craig Sampson III Memorial Scholarship as the 2018 class gift. This gift will help students in need for years to come and honor Craig Sampson III in the process.
Also, on the docket for the weekend is an international reception, presented by La Chanterelle, and countless alumni receptions and get-togethers. Our annual Athletic Tribute Ceremony, Athletic Banner Raising Celebration, and Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions will kick off the many athletic events planned with Endicott College Football taking on Hobart College at Hempstead Stadium.
Endicott Ensembles will be featured at the Friends and Families Concert where guests will experience the great vitality of the performing arts programs here at Endicott. The Endicott Singers, Harmonelle, Bassline, Modern Band Project, and others, are set to give star performances on the stage of the Rose Performance Hall.
