Endicott College Hosts a 3 Day Startup Weekend
Endicott College is hosting the region’s first 3 Day Startup Weekend from November 3rd – 5th on its Beverly campus. The 3 Day Startup organization is viewed as the global leader in delivering intensive, hands-on entrepreneurship education programs at colleges and university campuses across the globe.
Endicott College’s Angle Center for Entrepreneurship has entered a partnership with 3 Day Startup for this event. Aspiring entrepreneurs from across the region will go from early-stage idea on November 3rd to viable venture by Sunday, November 5th. Alumni from other 3 Day Startup workshops have gone on to Mass Challenge, Techstars and Y-Combinator.
In announcing their partnership with Endicott College, Ellyson Glance, program coordinator for 3 Day Startup, commented “Our organization has delivered hands-on entrepreneurship programming to over 150 schools in 30 different countries around the world, and we are so excited to add Endicott to that list. We can't wait to see the amazing ideas, initiative, and dedication that the students at Endicott have to offer.”
Deirdre Sartorelli, the Director for the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship noted, “We look forward to including our participants at Endicott in 3 Day Startup’s network of over 12,000 entrepreneurs. This workshop is a big step in helping them achieve their entrepreneurial potential both during and beyond this November weekend.”
Endicott is considering a limited number of applications from the greater North Shore community for potential scholarships. If interested, please apply by October 27 or call 978-998-7740 and speak to the Center’s director for more information.
