Endicott College presents Fridays In The Rose: Jaxen, Krachy, Messina Trio 4/14

Endicott College will host Fridays In The Rose: Jaxen, Krachy, Messina Trio in Rose Performance Hall in the Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts on Friday, April 14 at 12:00 to 12:45 PM. Free with light appetizer reception to follow. 
Known for bringing together the elemental qualities of creative jazz musicians-the earthy, melodic pulsations of Don Messina’s bass; the oceanic depth of Charley Krachy’s tenor; and the fiery , adventurousness of Kazzrie Jaxen’s piano and vocals-the band combines straight-ahead swing with spontaneous improvisation, inspired by influences like Lester Young, Charlie Parker, and Billie Holiday.
