Endicott College to Host North Shore Chapter of Sigma Xi’s Annual Symposium

On Saturday, February 25th at 9:00 a.m., the North Shore Chapter of Sigma Xi will be holding their annual symposium at Endicott College's Ginger Judge Science Center. Sigma Xi is a research honor society for scientific, engineering and mathematical research. The North Shore Chapter includes members from Endicott College, Gordon College and Salem State University (SSU), as well as other local scientists.
This year’s symposium will begin with a keynote lecture from Dakota Hamill, Founder and Chief Security Officer of Prospective Research. Hamill is a SSU alumnus and one of the scientists currently working in Endicott College’s Incubator Space. Following the keynote, there will be a series of oral and poster presentations on a variety of topics including geological sciences, the biology of hemlocks, marine science, field biology and immunology. Presentations will be given by faculty, students and Chapter Officers.
The public is invited to attend the symposium; admission is free.
