North Shore Sigma Xi Induction Ceremony and Lecture

Please join North Shore Sigma Xi for its induction ceremony and lecture on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Klebanoff Auditorium, Judge Science Center, 376 Hale Street, Beverly.  The event is free and open to the public.

 

Alex Frenzel is a graduate of Gordon College and a Ph.D. candidate from Harvard University's Department of Physics.  He will speak on "Shining Light on Electrons in Flatland".  An induction ceremony will follow.

 

Sigma Xi is an international organization to promote research in the sciences and engineering.  The North Shore chapter of Sigma Xi was founded in 2009, and is comprised of faculty and student scientists from Gordon College, Salem State University, Endicott College, as well as other local scientists.
