0:06 Hi My name is Lauren, and I'm a senior here at Endicott College.
0:09 For this fall semester, I'm interning at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion with Live Nation
0:14 doing their marketing and their V.I.P. area.
0:16 Live Nation is one of the world's biggest entertainment industries.
0:19 We do ticketing for concerts all over the nation and specifically here in Boston.
0:25 What I've learned so far is that, although social media takes us a really long way,
0:29 it's also important to keep personal connections and market through that.
0:32 I think the internship is a great stepping stone and learning experience.
0:35 It really teaches you how to be responsible, be on time for a job, maybe have to work
0:40 a little bit off-hours, checking your e-mails.
0:42 It really is a great stepping stone after graduation.
