Philip Lombardo is dedicated to teaching and helping students improve their understanding of mathematics and its many applications. He particularly enjoys exploring how probability theory can model real world risks and help people make informed decisions.

Dr. Lombardo’s current research interests include actuarial science, applications of statistics, and machine learning. His interests outside of applied mathematics include combinatorics, number theory, and representation theory.
