Endicott's versatile mathematics program promises you a well-rounded education in both current and classical theories and techniques, with a strong emphasis on cutting-edge problem solving. Advanced coursework will focus on the applied aspects of mathematics and technology, giving you tools for success across disciplines like mathematical modeling, statistics, risk management, and data analysis. Combined with Endicott’s liberal arts foundation and experiential learning through internship opportunities, your mathematics degree will make you a strong candidate for employment or graduate studies.

    Program Highlights

    • Foundational mathematics + technical competency = problem-solvers with broad applications.
    • Outstanding career opportunities - actuarial science, finance, secondary education, data science, modeling.
    • Classical mathematics framework - calculus, differential equations, algebra, geometry.
    • Technical skills - MATLAB, R, programming, enables computational modeling of big data.
    • Society of Actuary Exams - coursework prepares students to take first two exams (Financial Math, Probability) by end of junior year.
    • Active Mathematics Club - group events, field trips to Boston and New York City, hosting speakers

There are two optional areas of concentration within our degree program in Applied Mathematics:
