Cintia Miranda
Profile
Dr. Miranda is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business at Endicott College, bringing a wealth of industry experience and academic expertise to the classroom. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in International Management and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing, both from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from Wilmington University, where her research focused on the changes in online consumer behavior during the coronavirus pandemic.
Before transitioning full-time to academia, Dr. Miranda spent two decades in leadership marketing roles, including building and growing her own successful marketing agency for a decade. During this time, she also taught marketing and consumer behavior courses at the Maine Business School at the University of Maine and business communications and organizational management courses at the New England School of Communications at Husson University.
Her academic and extensive hands-on experience in a variety of industries, including most recently in GIS technology, provided her with a deep understanding of market dynamics, both domestically and internationally, of consumer behavior and cultural nuances, and digital marketing trends.
At Endicott College, Dr. Miranda teaches marketing courses at the Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business and advertising, campaign management and client services courses at the School of Social Sciences, Communication & Humanities. In the classroom, she blends theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world experience gained in her accomplished career as a marketing leader.
