Emily G. Smith, DNP, RN, CRRN, CNE, FNAP - Professor Smith received her Bachelors Degree (BS) in Administration of Healthcare Services from Ithaca College in Ithaca NY, an Associates Degree (AS) in Nurse Education from North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA, a Masters Degree (MSN) in Nursing Science, with an emphasis on nursing education from Salem State University in Salem, MA and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. Her credentials include certification as a Nurse Educator, CNE, and a certification in Rehabilitation Nursing, CRRN. Her nursing experience includes cardiac and orthopedic rehabilitation and home care. Her teaching experience includes teaching Community Health clinicals for Salem State College and she began her career at Endicott as the Endicott College Nursing/Simulation Lab Coordinator and as an adjunct professor. In 2011, Professor Smith became an Assistant Professor teaching Fundamentals of Nursing, Nursing Research, Senior Thesis II and workd as a clinical instructor at Endicott.
In August 2013 she was hired as Associate Director of Masters Nursing Programs. Currently, and taught in the Masters of Education concentration thru the summer of 2016. As of Fall 2016 Professor Smith returned to teach in the undergraduate nursing program as Assistant Professor.
