Paul Krepelka
Profile
Paul is the Hockey Operations Manager for the Norfolk Admirals, the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate of the Bakersfield Condors and Edmonton Oilers. In this role, he is directly involved in a range of personnel decisions and team management activities, including: negotiating contracts, scouting players, and managing the salary cap.
Paul is also an Adjunct Professor at Endicott College in Greater Boston, where he teaches in the Sports Management Department at The Van Loan School at Endicott College.
Previously, Paul enjoyed a nearly 20-year career as a National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) Certified Agent. He was a founding partner of The Orr Hockey Group, one of the sport's most venerable agencies, where he represented some of the games most recognizable stars as well as twice representing the No. 1 overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft. As an agent, Paul was responsible for all aspects of his clients' business affairs, including employment contracts, endorsement deals, and a wide range of financial matter.
Paul holds a law degree from Suffolk University in Boston, MA and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. Prior to becoming a professional hockey agent, Paul played two seasons of professional hockey for the Hampton Roads Admirals and was member of the 1992 Riley Cup Champions.
