Apostille of the Hague

International students often need to have their diplomas and transcripts authenticated by a designated federal authority. This authentication takes the form of a certification form called an "apostille" as approved by the Hague convention.

To obtain the apostille, the student forwards to the Registrar's Office an Apostille of the Hague Request form. The cost of processing is $40 dollars for the diploma and transcript. The student will have to provide his or her original diploma.

The transcript and diploma will be notarized and then forwarded to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the apostille. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing.
