Frequently Asked Questions

  • General

Where can I find my acceptance letter?
You can download an official copy of your acceptance letter from the admission portal at apply.endicott.edu.

Where can I find my student ID number and email?
When your Endicott ID has been created, it will be sent to the email address you used to apply for admission. Your Endicott email address and login to the student portal (MyEndicott) will come at the end of May/early June.

When do I have to submit my enrollment deposit?
In order to secure your space in the class, you must submit your non-refundable Enrollment Deposit by May 1 (January 10 for Early Decision students). A student’s preference for housing is determined by the date the deposit was submitted. Please see the Enrollment Deposit policy enclosed for details.

Can I defer my offer of admission to next semester or next year?
Yes, deferral requests are determined on a case by case basis. Deadline for deferral requests must be received by July 31, 2024 for consideration. Requests should be sent to admission@endicott.edu with plans for the deferral period.

  • Financial Aid
When will I receive my financial aid offer?
Currently, students are able to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); however, we learned recently from the Department of Education that we will not have access to student’s FAFSA information until the “mid-March.” This information is necessary to confirm a student’s institutional need-based and federal financial aid eligibility. Once your FAFSA data is received, we will work as quickly as possible to return a financial aid award to you.Make sure that you have listed Endicott on the FAFSA application using code 002148. If additional information is required, or you have been selected for verification, you will be contacted by the Office of Financial Aid via email.

Do I have to apply for a merit scholarship?
No. Qualified applicants are notified if they are offered a scholarship with admission. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a recalculated 4.0 weighted scale is required for consideration.

Endicott is my first choice, but I’m concerned about the cost. What should I do?
If you are applying for need-based financial aid, please wait to receive your full award before comparing costs. If you have received your full financial aid offer and net cost is still a concern, please contact the Office of Admission to discuss possible next steps.
  • Housing & Residence Life
How does the housing and roommate selection process work?
Housing information will be sent with your new student information in early June. Students will be able to express interest in a Living Learning Community and other housing requests. If you would like to request particular qualities in a roommate (i.e. student-athlete, studio art major, etc.) you can do so on the form. Please note: if requesting a roommate, the later deposit date of the roommates will be used to determine housing placement.

    Can I live off-campus as a first-year student?
No, unless you plan to live with a family member within a commutable distance. If a student is not living with family locally, they will be required to live on campus.

    Am I guaranteed Endicott housing?
Yes. Endicott provided housing is guaranteed for all four years of attendance.

I originally applied as a commuter, but I’d like to live on campus.
Residency changes can be submitted to the Office of Admission until the first day of classes depending on availability. Please direct your request in writing to the Office of Admission at admission@endicott.edu.
  • Student Life
Is it possible to “walk on” to a varsity or club athletic team?
Yes. All varsity and club teams allow new students to tryout. Contact the head coach directly with your interest. Contact information can be found at ecgulls.com.

Are freshman allowed to have a car on campus?
First-year students are not allowed to have a car on campus. Health-related waivers are granted under special circumstances. First-year students can apply for a waiver the summer prior to their first year on campus.

Will the Callahan Dining Hall accommodate my food restrictions/allergies?
Yes, the “Simple Servings” station offers healthy meals that are prepared without seven of the most common allergens. Accommodations are available upon request for special plates, utensils, or eating space.
  • Academics
When do I register for classes?
Pre-registration for classes happens during the summer by the dean of your program. After Summer Orientation, students will receive instructions on how to complete course selection.

Can I change my major after I’m offered admission?
Yes. Prior to the start of classes, students interested in changing their major should submit their request in writing to admission@endicott.edu.

    Are internships paid?
Endicott values the learning experience of internships and therefore does not require interns to be paid. The primary purpose of the internship, which is a required part of the academic curriculum, is to provide a learning experience of substance in a professional setting. Compensation is a matter left entirely to the supervisor and the intern.

Will I receive credit for my AP Exam scores?
Degree credit is awarded based upon AP Exam scores. Math and science subjects require a score of four or five, while other subjects must be a minimum of three. Official AP Exam scores from the College Board must be mailed to Endicott for credit.

Will I receive credit for college courses taken during high school?
Yes. Credit is awarded for courses taken at an accredited college with a C or better. You must request an official transcript be sent directly to Endicott for transfer credit to be awarded. A transfer credit evaluation will be performed to determine how credits are applied toward an Endicott degree.

Who should I reach out to if I have more questions?
The Office of Admission is here for you. Please contact us at 978-921-1000 or admission@endicott.edu. If we don’t have the answer, we will put you in touch with someone who does.
