Patrick Cornelissen, Director of Operations/Restaurant Manager
School of Hospitality Management
Patrick Cornelissen started his hospitality career at various restaurants in his home country of Belgium. After moving to the South of Spain for several years, he worked for the Four Seasons Hotel Canary Wharf, London in both the housekeeping and food & beverage departments. In 2003 he joined Endicott College in a dual capacity for the Event and Conference Services Department, as well as the School of Hospitality Management, where over the years he taught a variety of F&B related topics. Currently he teaches senior internship classes as well as the operational service management class, which uses La Chanterelle, a 50-seat European a la carte restaurant, as a training tool for students. In his current role as Director of Operations for the Event and Conference Services Department, he focuses on implementation of large scale events, residential programs, seminars and weddings. He is also the founder of the North Shore Concours d’Elegance, a high-end classic car show that takes place at the college each year.
Active in various local organizations, Patrick Cornelissen serves on the Board of Directors for the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau (NBCVB), is the Director-Elect for the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors International (ACCED-I) New England region, and is a member of The International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (ICHRIE). He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business and Marketing from Belgium, earned a Swiss Hotel Management Diploma from the Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and a Master in Business Administration from Endicott College and is currently completing a Certificate of Collegiate Conference and Events Professional. He has traveled to over 30 countries and speaks five languages (Flemish, English, French, German and Spanish).
