Richard Weissman, Director of Corporate Education / Assistant Professor

Endicott College Assistant Professor Richard Weissman teaches business management courses for the School of Business and the Van Loan Graduate School. He is also the Director of Corporate Education, which includes the Center for Leadership, Endicott’s management development institute. He serves on the Planning Committee, the Technology Committee and the Institution Review Board.
A practitioner turned educator, Weissman has more than twenty-five years of experience in all facets of procurement and supply chain management. He has held positions with large business units of Fortune 500 companies, medium sized contract manufacturing companies, small venture backed Internet startup firms, and third-party procurement, consulting, and strategic sourcing firms. Weissman is a past president of the Purchasing Management Association of Boston and the recipient of the Harry J. Graham Memorial Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Association.
Weissman holds an MS in Management from Lesley University and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. Active in Boston’s North Shore community, Weissman serves as the Chairperson of the American Red Cross of Northeast Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Economic Development Committee of Beverly Main Streets and the Allocations Committee of the United Way of the North Shore. He is a past president of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce.
