Determine eligibility and award financial aid to students at EC Boston. Monitor enrollment status of students and modify financial aid awards if necessary. Answer general financial aid questions for current and prospective students and their families via phone, email and in person. Process daily mail. Assist with updating information in Jenzabar software system and filing paperwork in student’s folders. Prepare new and existing student folders for awarding. Assist with preparing and mailing out Financial Aid Award Letter packets.
Send out correspondence to delinquent Stafford Loan borrowers. Represent the Financial Aid Department at various college-related functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor Degree required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Spanish.
