Program Overview
The Associate in Science in Liberal Studies degree program is not designed to overlap with existing degrees but rather to provide qualified students with an academic program that meets their unique needs. Offering students flexibility, independence, and academic rigor, this option provides undergraduate adult learners with the opportunity to draw on the resources of the entire curriculum, across degrees and disciplines.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program students will:
- Converse and write at an acceptable level for business communications in English.
- Conceptualize a complex business issue into a coherent written statement and oral presentation.
- Understand and be able to use basic concepts in algebra and quantitative methods in solving business problems.
- Recall and apply the basic foundational knowledge of science and liberal studies as delivered through the Baccalaureate Core.
- Effectively communicate in writing and through oral communication.

Admission Requirements
- Completed application along with a non-refundable fee of $25.00
- Official high school transcript
- One letter of recommendation
- A 250 - 500 word essay explaining your professional goals
- All students for whom English is not a first language must submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
