Athletic Training Education Program Awarded Continuing Accreditation by CAATE

The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) has voted to award the maximum 10 year Continuing Accreditation to the Athletic Training Education Program at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. The program has met all of the nationally-recognized Standards for Entry-Level Athletic Training Education that were established with support of the following sponsoring organizations: the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Inc. The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education commends the faculty, staff, and administrators at Endicott College for their commitment to the advancement of quality education in Athletic Training, as well as their dedication to the preparation of highly qualified Athletic Training professionals. Dr. Deb Swanton, Dean of the School of Sport Science, noted “we are extremely pleased with earning the maximum accreditation award. It is a tribute to the faculty, staff and students involved in the Program. I am also very pleased to announce the first time pass rate for the 2012 Athletic Training Education Program graduating class was 100 percent. ” The Athletic Training Education Program has been accredited since 1997.
