First Cohort of Master's Students Completes Coursework
Endicott College's first cohort of master's degree registered nurses has completed their coursework, and presented their e-portfolios and research during their last two class meetings. The first cohort was comprised of registered nurses who currently work in a variety of settings, including acute care, school health nursing, and pediatrics, who are now prepared to take on roles in education and administration. "It is a very exciting time for us to have our first class of 12 Master’s prepared nursing graduates," stated Dr. Kelly Fisher, Dean of the School of Nursing. "They have been dedicated students and we are very proud of their accomplishments in achieving a degree in Nursing Administration or Nursing Education. We believe that the Masters in nursing has been an educational path to provide them with the knowledge and skills to become a nurse educator, nurse researcher, or a nursing leader in the 21st century."
