Richard Tisei visits Professor Burt's American Presidents Class

Richard Tisei, GOP nominee for the sixth Congressional district of Massachusetts, visited Professor Arthur Burt's HST177 American Presidents class this past Tuesday. Richard Tisei, students and faculty had a great discussion and students were able to provide feedback regarding certain issues. Professor Burt's Class is part of a three course learning community this fall entitled "Decision 2012: The Presidential Election". The American President's class is coupled with an Introduction to Politics course taught by Dr. Chris Latimer. Students have been analyzing the debates, candidates’ biographies, advertisements, and the issues – how candidates spin them, how the media portray them, and how they invariably become politicized. The classes provide opportunities for the students to visit party offices and to meet with campaign officials and candidates.
