Disability Services
Endicott College seeks to provide a supportive environment for students, faculty, and staff. Endicott College complies with the mandates of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 Title II and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA), which prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities. Endicott is committed to providing equal access to educational programs and services to "otherwise qualified" individuals with a disability.
Through the Center for Teaching and Learning, Endicott College provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with a documented disability as stated by law. The accommodations allow a qualified individual an equal opportunity to obtain the same benefit or privileges as those available to a similarly situated individual without a disability. The law does not require institutions to waive specific courses or academic requirements considered essential to a particular program or degree if to do so would fundamentally alter the nature of the program or the degree.
Students requesting accommodation must self-identify and provide appropriate documentation of their disability. Eligibility for reasonable and appropriate disability accommodations will be determined on an individual basis.
