Who We Are & What We Do

The Office of Research & Planning is an administrative department that supports students and the mission of the College by monitoring effectiveness and quality, supporting the framework of accreditation, deriving and tracking metrics, staying abreast of industry and market trends, and representing the College to accreditation, federal, and state agencies. The Office of Research & Planning leverages its knowledge of college and industry trends by providing decision support to the College’s administration. 

Research & Planning staff are involved in the day-to-day life of the College through teaching, student advising, and collegial work with administrative departments and committees across campus.

Institutional Research

The Institutional Research division, as part of the Office of Research & Planning, provides statistics and information to support the College in meeting its mission. Internal research initiatives include data support for decision making, benchmarking, assessment, and community awareness. External reporting initiatives fulfill government requirements and provide official data to regulatory agencies and publications.

Survey & Research Operations

The Endicott Research Center division, as part of the Office of Research & Planning, has extensive experience designing, developing, deploying, and analyzing a school’s overall performance in several areas, including academics, leadership, school climate, school environment, and school services. Internal work includes Endicott College's course evaluations, clinical and internship evaluations, post-graduation assessment, and climate surveys. 

The Office of Research & Planning serves external clients with survey design, development, deployment, and analysis through exit surveys, course evaluations, accreditation surveys, and climate surveys.
